In the contemporary world we face a lot of global changes: of climate, of political power and of economic influence. In our case we want to give a focus on the 2008 Olympic Games . The chinese government suppresses millions of people in their own country.

Many people inside and outside China know about it, but the interest of western industries for example is still to make profit from low cost production. The price for this may be the further suppression of human rights and the loss of cultural heritage in many countries in and around China.

The IOC ("International Olympic Comittee") is "rewarding" China with the Organisation of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

We do not agree with that and we want to ask:

"What can I do as a single person? Does my opinion count and can my peaceful protest effect anything?"

We are sure that we together can do something:

1. Switch off the games on tv!   Take Action!
2. Make this message public and spread this site to friends, NGO's, governments, journalists, any kinds of organisation, web forum, etc.
3. Send mails to broadcasting centers, main sponsors of the Olympic games and to the IOC.

Let the games begin. We do not boycott them. We just do not watch.
